We’ve bound and burned down ample
Where do we go when we’re this fragile?
When we’re so tired where do we escape?
With these wires we’ve strung our own
With this fire we’ve burned our own
We are the weak soaked in gasoline
We are the matches that light these flames
We’ll watch them burn
We’ll torch these bridges to the ground
We’ll watch them burn
And then we’ll go up in flames ourselves
We are only left to dream of men and women dancing hand in hand in pastures filled with fields of green
The endless lies we weave
We’ll burn and burn again
As we pen the book of our own tragedy
Will we continue to be swept aside as in the past?
I’ve not been keeping time
Who will be the wings to soar us to safety?
Not I, I’ve never learned to fly ˆ Top
FALLDOWN
I can see your eyes look over me
A fear you’ll see an enemy in me
Judge me
Scrutinize me in your eyes
I’m falling down now
You’ll make me bleed forever
I’ll hold onto sizing memories
Of what’s it’s like to be free
They’ll come for me
A fear they’ll see the weaknesses in me
Condescending
My fears actualized
Lately I haven’t felt the need to breathe
You take more of my life from me
Hardly the truth this is how I feel
With the greatest of fears you expect me to fail
Will I falter when I fight my own battles confined within me?
Convert my sorrows into hope
Fix the destiny no longer controlled by me
I’m not falling for eternity because…
It seems like eternity when everyone wants to be there for the splash that awaits below
The words that come forth from their mouths they scream I told you so ˆ Top
FOREVER ENDS
And all the things you didn’t say was nothing you didn’t show in your eyes
The tears let me know this time everything was gone
With nothing left the same, and now I’m on my own, here I’m left to blame
Our stubbornness to change
We were young and hoped for the best
Never expected things to change oh so fast but now I know you feel so strong
I was a simple pawn in your elaborate game
We’re through and now I know you’ve felt this way too long
And now I know it’s for the best
It’s time to take a different test
You can’t hold on to what feels wrong
Fading fast the life she lost
You said you’d never go away
You said that we were forever
Forever ends tomorrow
Attention please I have something to say but it isn’t worth the time
Everything must go that’s everything that’s mine
And to lose is not so bad with freedom close at hand
I’ll miss you all the same please don’t forget my name
Please don’t forget my name
Why’d we ever play this game?
Why?
Please don’t forget my name ˆ Top

He put a fist and microphone through a ceiling panel.
How can I get Embers Remain to play my Sweet 16th, Bar Mitzvah, house party, or simply in my town?
Send us an en email to the address specified in the the Contact section of this site. We’ll basically entertain any opportunities for a show, but keep in mind that making us drive 5 hours to play a 20-minute set will more than likely result in Marino doing his best impersonation of The Incredible Hulk.

I've noticed the bass player stands in one spot with very little movement. Was he once trained as a British guard?
Actually, we met him when he working as a mannequin in a local Dress Barn. We knew instantly that he was right for our band. Sometimes he falls asleep standing up while playing, but his fingers still move. It's really weird.
